Power output ranges from 329 horsepower to a pavement-scorching 649 horsepower in the Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS sedan. 4MATIC all-wheel drive is available on the lower-output vehicle but comes standard on higher-output ones – the increase in power requires AWD to get the most out of it.
Though heart-quickening performance comes standard, Mercedes-Benz did not overlook the interior. A myriad of technology has been integrated beautifully into the cabin of the Mercedes-Benz EQS, and you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. A carefully crafted 12.8-inch OLED touchscreen dominates the cabin space, offering easy-to-read and well-lit menus. That pairs to a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster to make everything from setting the cruise control to pairing your phone via Bluetooth a simple feat.
A comprehensive safety suite accompanies every Mercedes-Benz EQS. Blind Spot Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Speed Limit Assist, Active Stop-and-Go Assist, and Emergency Stop Assist are some standard-issue technologies. Parking the vehicle couldn't be easier, either – a surround-view camera and front and rear cross-traffic alerts, among other parking aids, are also included.
